About Your New Job

As a Project Electrical Engineer,youwill:

  • Lead the electrical engineering function on one or more major construction projects, ensuring technical excellence from design through to commissioning and final handover.
  • Oversee electrical design reviews, resolve technical queries, and coordinate technical submittals and approvals.
  • Support procurement processes and manage the delivery of electrical equipment to site.
  • Work closely with the in-house BIM team to coordinate CAD/BIM activities and ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor engineering progress, maintain project trackers, and carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with all specifications and quality standards.
  • Support commissioning, testing, BCAR compliance, and project handover while liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to drive project success.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement.
What Skills You Need
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (electrical trade background an advantage).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience delivering electrical engineering packages on commercial, industrial, or healthcare construction projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services, commissioning, and construction processes.
  • Experience with AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Full clean driving licence.
