Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Documentation Co-Ordinator to join a growing engineering team in Cramlington.

This role will be responsible for coordinating, packaging and issue client submittals for Gas Turbine system Projects.

Project Documentation Co-ordinator Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and compile project documentation from internal and external stakeholders into structured, submittal-compliant packages in line with contractual and specification requirements
  • Coordinate with suppliers and third parties to obtain required technical documentation, ensuring completeness, compliance, and alignment with project deliverables
  • Issue and manage project documentation within the Client Document Management System (CDMS), ensuring accurate metadata, traceability, and adherence to agreed document control procedures.
  • Administer document workflows within CDMS, including submission, revision control, review cycles, and approval tracking, ensuring timely progression through all stages
  • Provide support to document control activities, including the preparation and issuance of manufacturing and construction documentation packages where required
  • Identify and escape gaps, inconsistencies, or non-compliances within submittal packages to relevant stakeholders, driving resolution to maintain project schedule and quality standard
  • Being open to tasks that require additional training and actively working on broadening your knowledge
  • Responsible for collecting, monitoring, processing, and analysing data
  • Reporting the data and making recommendations where necessary
Project Documentation Co-Ordinator Ideal Candidate:
  • Excellent computer skills, i.e., SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using document management systems/portals
  • Ability to understand, interpret and communicate engineering drawings
  • Ability to create document submittal packages
  • Good understanding of project execution processes
Project Documentation Co-Ordinator Working Hours:
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 37.5 hours a week, with flexible working
