Job Title: Project Director / Manager (Joinery)

Location: Mid Ulster

Description: We are hiring for our client, a leading company in Joinery and Fit-Out, renowned for delivering high-quality, prestigious projects across the UK, Ireland, and beyond.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Director / Manager to join their busy Team. This role will involve overseeing joinery fit-out projects from initial design through to manufacturing and on-site installation, requiring exceptional project management skills, in-depth knowledge of joinery processes, and the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.

The Role
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee all phases from design and manufacturing to onsite installation.
  • Design Coordination: Work closely with designers to ensure client specifications and industry standards are met.
  • Manufacturing Oversight: Manage production processes to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of joinery components.
  • Onsite Installation: Coordinate installation teams for precise and efficient fitting of joinery elements.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
  • Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and manage budgets and timelines, ensuring on-time and within-budget project completion.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress updates and resolve issues promptly.
The Person
  • Proven experience in project management within the joinery fit-out industry.
  • Strong understanding of joinery design, manufacturing, and installation processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • UK driving Licence and able to travel 1 or 2 days per week.
