Project Development Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join St John Ambulance and play a key role in rebuilding our youth programmes post-Covid. The role involves engaging with diverse communities, increasing membership to 20,000 young people, recruiting volunteers, and promoting youth programmes. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential extension based on funding.

• Experience working with young people and volunteers
• Experience supporting teams and managing projects within a set geography and budget
• Experience in community development and engaging diverse communities

• Supporting local volunteer teams to develop and deliver project plans
• Facilitating forums and engagement activities with young people and volunteers
• Building partnerships within target areas to expand our youth work
• Promoting youth voice in decision-making
• Recruiting new volunteers and young people through various activities
