Project Developer

One of my clients, a growing developer in the renewable energy space is looking for an experienced Project Developer to help bring large-scale solar and battery storage projects to life across the Netherlands. It's a great opportunity to step into a role where you'll truly shape the projects you're working on, from early-stage concept through to construction.

The Role:

• Spotting and securing land opportunities for solar and BESS projects.
• Managing the full development cycle: feasibility, permitting, local engagement, technical coordination.
• Working closely with municipalities, landowners, consultants, and internal teams.
• Navigating environmental and construction permitting processes.
• Supporting commercial activities around subsidies, PPAs, and grid connection strategies.
• Contributing to the ongoing optimisation of the development process.

The Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in project development within renewables-solar or storage is ideal.
• Solid understanding of Dutch spatial planning, permitting, and stakeholder processes.
• Great communicator who can handle technical, commercial, and local engagement angles.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Someone proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
