We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will provide high-quality coordination, administrative, and project management support to the Director of Estates across a broad portfolio of estates, capital development, maintenance, compliance, and space management projects. You will ensure the effective planning, organisation, communication, documentation, and monitoring of project activities, supporting the successful delivery of safe, sustainable, efficient, and fit-for-purpose learning environments for students, staff, and visitors.

About the role:

  • Supportthe Director of Estates in the planning, coordination, and delivery of estates and capital development projects across the college campus.
  • Act as acentral point of contact between the Estates Department and internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, academic departments, and support services.
  • Support themaintenance of statutory compliance records, including health and safety documentation, planned preventative maintenance schedules, contractor records, and asset registers.
  • Support budgetmonitoring and cost control activities relating to estates projects and operational works.
  • Participate intraining, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives to support professional development and service enhancement.
  • Assist withprocurement activities by obtaining quotations, preparing tender documentation, and liaising with contractors and suppliers.
  • Deliver ahigh standard of customer service, responding to enquiries in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrable experience of coordinating projects, operational activities, or administration within estates, facilities, construction, property, maintenance, or another fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting project delivery from planning through to completion.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands within a busy and dynamic workplace.
  • Experience liaising confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, contractors, and service providers.
  • Experience managing administrative processes, record keeping, and document control.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educated to A Level / Level 3 standard with GCSE passes in English and Maths
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

£28,686.84 to £31,284.24 per year
