Job Description

Project Administrator Location: Burton-On-Trent (Branston Registry, Building 16, DE14 3EG)

  • Pay Rate £13.25 per hour
  • 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm), with flexibility once trained (start as early as 7am if desired, while working full daily hours)
  • Basic DBS required (cost covered by the hiring process)
  • Assignment length: until 31/08/2027, with possibility of extension

Our Client is hiring for a reputed client to support a project processing Subject Access Requests (SARs) within the Government. This is a fully office-based role, Monday to Friday, with training provided and a clear route to add real momentum to the team's day-to-day work.

What you'll be doing:
  • Create letters using standard templates, ensuring accurate completion and quality checks
  • Log and track SAR progress using spreadsheets, including updating records as cases move through the process
  • Set up administration steps once requests are received, including recording progression and managing work allocation where required
  • Complete QA and reconciliation with a management check to ensure cases are accurate and complete
  • Process despatch in line with current business support processes, updating spreadsheets and closing cases on internal systems
  • Use mail merge to despatch letters to requesters, with batches prepared by the data analytics team
  • Cross-reference output with templates, then send and log each batch appropriately

  • Strong IT literacy and confidence using Microsoft packages (particularly spreadsheets)
  • Attention to detail to support QA, reconciliation, and accurate case logging
  • A methodical approach to administration-comfortable tracking information and keeping records up to date
