Programme Security Lead

Full-Time • Bristol, site-based

Key Responsibilities

• Support day to day security activities for Defence programmes, including administration of programme security budget and schedule.
• Support planning, coordination, and execution of programme security standards and requirements, managing compliance against the GovS007 Security policy.
• Lead creation and maintenance of operational security procedures, work instructions, and local operating instructions, including satellite locations.
• Coordinate security management plans, processes, and security risk registers to support compliant security outcomes.
• Interface on security topics with National and International partners and government agencies when required.
• Support the Programme Security Team during a programme compartment/facility security incident, breach or emergency; support security investigations, maintain records and reports, and link into the Defence security team.
• Maintain awareness of current and future changes in government and company guidance or legislation that may impact local operating procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Live company behaviours to ensure "do the right thing" is achieved for all security requirements.
• Sound knowledge of UK security regulations, UK MOD security policies, and understanding of security management principles.
• Good understanding of project management (budget, scheduling, risk and reporting).
• Strong influencing and communication skills, including training planning and delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively internally and externally within the UK and internationally across the programme enterprise to drive operational delivery.
• Preferably experienced in handling Government classified assets and Government security standards.
• This role requires a Developed Vetting (DV) clearance; currently a minimum Security Check (SC) clearance without caveats is required. Rolls Royce will support application for clearance if not already in place.
