Programme Manager - Regulatory Change (CRD)

London- Hybrid

The role of the CRD6 Programme Manager is to oversee the implementation of regulatory changes within the organization that impact trade operations, ensuring compliance and effective execution across multiple departments including technology, finance, and operations.

The role:

  • Ensure all changes that could affect regulatory reporting obligations follow the defined governance & control framework.

  • Work closely with Change, Operations, Compliance and other areas within Technology to ensure all Regulatory reporting deliverables are implemented accurately across all regimes and at the appropriate priority.

  • Implement 'best practices' in terms of validating current regulatory reporting requirements and ensure future reporting requirements and changes adhere to these best practices'.

  • Leading the governance, operations, and reporting aspects of the CRD6 implementation.

  • Collaborating with workgroups to assess the impact of regulations on trades and client services.

  • Defining workstreams and mobilizsng teams for effective delivery of the project.

  • Documenting and formalizing the program's inception and objectives.

  • Managing the overlap of risk models and compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Ensuring alignment between the EU and UK operational requirements.

  • Focusing on the trade life cycle, including booking models and ESG considerations.

Key Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Proven experience delivering regulatory change projects in a Programme Management Management capacity.

  • Effective at network building and forming relationships.

  • Ability to work effectively in Matrix structure and to leverage the input/engagement of colleagues in other departments

  • Strong functional knowledge of Regulatory/operations project life cycles

  • Experience with regulatory frameworks, specifically CRD.

  • Strong background in project management within financial services.

  • Knowledge of trade life cycle and booking models.

  • Previous experience in cross-border regulatory compliance.

  • Understanding of risk management models and operational procedures.
