Description

Program Instructors/coaches provide instruction and training for all team members; they may work at a variety of levels.

Job Summary

Two positions available: Head Coach and Assistant Coach. The Assistant Coach works directly under the Head Coach, providing support, specialized instruction, and assistance with day to day operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan individual lessons and activities.
• Develop knowledge of materials and repertoire for students at different stages of their development.
• Communicate with the student and/or student's parents about their child's lessons and progress.
• Develop skills and abilities necessary to carry out assigned duties by attending meetings, in service trainings, and other opportunities when scheduled.
• Attend all required staff meetings.
• Support a team environment and provide instructional support to the Head Coach.

Qualifications

• Must possess subject matter expertise in instructional area.
• Must have good organizational skills and demonstrate dependability, promptness, and punctuality.
• Must be able to manage groups of students in a classroom setting and/or other instructional environment.
• Must be a team leader and promote team cohesiveness.
• Must be able to work independently, be enthusiastic, and take initiative.
• Must demonstrate a professional, positive attitude when working with staff, parents, and community contacts.

Team Practices Fall Schedule

Aug 3 - Aug 7: Rogers Fall Dance Team Choreography Week (Mandatory) - 7:30 am - 12:00 pm (Mon Thu)

Sept 1 - Oct 14: Practice - 3:30 - 5:30 pm (Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri)

Sept - Oct: Home Game Halftime performances
