Role: Professional Services Procurement Manager

Salary: Up to £80K + BIG Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Location: London (3-4 Days p/w in office)

Are you a Professional Services Procurement Manager - looking for the opportunity to demonstrate the value of Procurement to a set of stakeholders who are new to the concept of strategic Procurement?

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in the development of a Greenfield Procurement function, alongside a newly appointed Head of Procurement, for a global PE / Investment Management firm.

Role:
Key to your success in this role will be the ability to develop key stakeholder relationships with the CxO community, positioning Procurement as a "value-add" business partner. Ultimately, you will be tasked with driving commercial value across a broad range of business critical Procurement projects - supporting the organisation's drive for commercial value across their Professional Services, Consultancy, Audit and Legal categories.

You will need to:

  • Experienced in developing meaninful engagements with your stakeholder community - taking them "on the journey" in regard to Procurement's value proposition
  • Have strong influencing skills, with the empathy and emotional intelligence to engage credibly and constructively with suppliers as well as the CxO's and their executive management team
  • Be results driven with a track record of achievement in creating value for internal customers across the professional services category domain
  • Develop category strategy - with a plan to drive strategic supplier "partnerships" in order to access opporutnities to innovate

Experience:

  • Professional Services Procurement & Category Management experience
  • Procurement experience gained in a complex, 'blue-chip', private sector business
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes and principles, commercial and legal constructs, and financial models.
  • Self-motivation, tenacity, and a focus on delivery
  • Gravitas, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ideally Degree and MCIPS qualified.
