The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Support Operator to join a leading manufacturing organisation operating within a highly regulated process environment. This role is critical to ensuring production operations run smoothly by supporting material movements, operating plant equipment, maintaining site standards and helping maximise production output.

The Role

This role would suit candidates working in these roles;
Production Operator, Process Operator, Manufacturing Operator, Chemical Plant Operator, Plant Operative, Warehouse Operative, Forklift Driver, Production Technician, Process Technician, Materials Handler.
We would also welcome applications from these industries;
Chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, food manufacturing, coatings and adhesives, and industrial processing environments.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
  • Operate filtration equipment safely and effectively, ensuring all processing activities are completed in line with approved procedures and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate the movement of raw materials, work-in-progress stock and finished goods to support manufacturing activities and maintain production schedules.
  • Assist production teams during peak periods, helping to reduce delays, improve efficiency and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Support production planning activities by monitoring consumable stock levels, maintaining material conditioning requirements and preparing areas for upcoming manufacturing campaigns.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping, safety and environmental standards across production, storage and external operational areas.
You will have the following qualifications and experience
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing, chemical, processing or industrial production environment.
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence with practical forklift operating experience.
  • Ability to accurately follow manufacturing procedures, work instructions and site operating processes.
  • Strong communication skills, good numeracy and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to health, safety, quality and continuous improvement within a regulated working environment.
