Due to ongoing growth and investment, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their operations team.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily production activities, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
You will lead and motivate production teams, coordinate operational resources, and work closely with quality, maintenance and planning departments to achieve production targets and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day production operations to achieve output, quality and delivery targets.
Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture across the manufacturing environment.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators including productivity, quality, waste and downtime.
Effectively allocate labour and resources to meet production requirements.
Ensure all products are manufactured to specification and customer standards.
Lead team briefings and communicate operational goals clearly.
Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Maintain accurate production records and KPI reporting
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Team Leader role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Experience managing and improving operational KPIs.
Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within manufacturing.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Experience working within a fast-paced production setting.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
Experience within construction products, composites, plastics, engineering or related manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
