Job Description
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading beverage manufacturing business seeking to appoint a Production Shift Supervisor to join their operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing supervisor with a strong mechanical aptitude to support the Production Shift Manager in delivering safe, efficient and high-performing shift operations within a fast-paced, automated production environment.

- Monitoring line performance and implementing corrective actions where required
- Ensuring adherence to SOPs and operational best practice
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety and challenging unsafe behaviours
- Conducting quality checks including filling levels, cap integrity and cleanliness
- Completing production logs, maintenance reports and checklists
- Supporting problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with the Production Shift Manager and wider teams to resolve operational issues
- Previous supervisory experience with strong organisational, planning and time management skills
- Proven experience meeting challenging deadlines within a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably within the beverage industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of filling machinery and automated production systems
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and minimise production downtime, including basic maintenance and mechanical breakdowns
- Strong understanding of quality control and regulatory standards
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts including days, nights and weekends, with overtime when required
