Job Description
Responsibilities 
Reporting to the Sr Supply Chain Manager, this role plays a critical part in production planning and operations management.
- Develop and manage finite, capacity-constrained production schedules, translating the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into executable shopfloor plans.
- Ensure production activity is aligned to capacity, materials, and demand priorities while driving schedule adherence, stability, and operational performance in line with Dexcom's Class A Playbook.
- Maintain execution schedules at daily/hourly granularity and measure on-time, in-full delivery performance.
- Develop detailed finite schedules considering equipment capacity, labour availability, shift patterns, material readiness, changeovers, and sequencing constraints.
- Convert MPS into executable shopfloor schedules in time phased buckets.
- Ensure optimal sequencing to maximise throughput and minimise downtime.
- Monitor and drive adherence to production schedules (timing and quantity) across operations.
- Lead daily/weekly reviews to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
- Identify production constraints and capacity shortfalls.
- Adjust schedules dynamically while maintaining alignment to business priorities.
- Support structured schedule change control and approval processes.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to resolve execution risks.
- Strong understanding of finite scheduling principles, MRP/MPS processes and capacity planning.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Copilot, Outlook, Teams; experience with Smartsheets is preferable.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience in the medical device or CPG industry.
- Experience working with distribution networks is advantageous.
- Experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, PLM, and Anaplan systems is advantageous.
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field and a minimum of 2 5 years of related experience.
