My job, Our future
As part of a long-term ambition to develop a comprehensive team of specialists, we are currently looking to recruit a Production Quality Engineer, who will work closely with our current Production Engineer and our partner Broekman Logistics. The role is responsible for ensuring & maintaining highest production quality, in relation to Kubota quality guidelines. The role will be based at the recently-established (2022) European Distribution Center EDC , part of our Construction Machinery business unit. The role is based in Via Raeka 16, 6003 NK Weert .
About the EDC
As part of a larger effort to invest into its people, process & products, Kubota has established a European Distribution Center in Weert, the Netherlands. The warehouse is 60.000-70.000 m2 with 50 loading docks and storage of up to 4.500 machines.
Your tasks
- Documentation of assembly-related activities
- Establishment of a line/end check system
- Coordination of subsequent areas (line/end check)
- Development of a PDCA system for the complete improvement of quality documents
- Process monitoring regarding the quality of assembly
- Evaluation of quality checklists and, if necessary, initiation of corrective measures
- Support/implementation of continuous improvement projects concerning assembly quality
- Monitoring compliance with KUBOTA standards
- Error analysis and initiation of corrective measures in consultation with the affected department
Must-haves:
- Educational degree in the field of engineering (electrical/mechanical) or comparable.
- Good knowledge of English
- Good MS-Office skills
- Technical knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, mechanics
- Production experience in / knowledge of quality management
- QHSE knowledge
- Willingness to travel to Germany on occasion
Nice-to-haves:
- SAP knowledge (QM, WM, PP)
- Good knowledge of Dutch / German
