Production Planner / Production Scheduler Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production based on customer orders and Make-to-Stock (MTS) requirements.
• Develop and maintain production schedules; adjust as needed and communicate changes.
• Assign and oversee work to ensure timely completion of manufacturing jobs.
• Collaborate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
• Perform capacity planning to align workload with available resources.
• Act as the main point of contact for manufacturing teams regarding scheduling.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales to align timelines and expectations.
• Follow and enforce company procedures and operational standards.
• Report significant nonconformances and stop production if necessary.

Production Planner / Production Scheduler Requirements

• Experience as a Production Planner or Production Scheduler
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of production planning, supply chain, and MRP systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and production planning software.
• Experience with MRP systems required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Commutable to Richmond, IN
