Manpower UK seeks a Production Operator for its Smethwick site, paying up to £12.71 per hour on a temporary basis. Working Monday to Thursday (8:30am-4:45pm) and Friday (8:00am-3:00pm), you will handle product preparation, order fulfilment, stock control, and general warehouse tasks. Duties include mixing items to set formulas, picking, packing, and readying dispatches while upholding quality, housekeeping, and safety standards. Occasional driving for customer deliveries requires a full UK licence. This hands on position suits someone accurate, efficient, and comfortable with varied duties. Prior production or warehouse experience is advantageous, though training supports newcomers. Reliable attendance and a meticulous approach are essential for success here.
Production Operator Smethwick £12.71 per hour Hours of Work Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 4:45pm Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm We are currently recruiting for a Production Operator to join a busy and established operation in Smethwick. This is a hands on role focused on product preparation, order fulfilment, stock control and general warehouse duties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and health andamp; safety. Occasional driving duties may be required to support customer deliveries, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Mixing products to specified formulas and customer requirements.
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Labelling products and carrying out quality checks.
- Monitoring and managing stock levels.
- Loading and unloading goods safely.
- Completing paperwork accurately and maintaining records.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting occasional customer deliveries when required.
- Due to the environment you will be required to wear a Air Fed Mask upto 7 hours per day
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Previous experience within production, manufacturing, warehouse or logistics environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting duties.
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
- £12.71 per hour
- Monday to Friday working pattern
