Production Operator

Job Description Summary

Become part of a winning team and help to deliver the Green Energy transition. You will work as part of the manufacturing team to ensure the assembly of products meets daily targets while maintaining required quality standards, using correct tools, current build, and correct process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production targets are achieved, which may require shift adjustments.
• Maintain build quality of the product in line with standard operating instructions.
• Handle routine maintenance and cleaning of the workstation.
• Verify that all equipment complies with BV inspections, calibration, and PAT requirements.
• Support any additional duties required to support the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct 5S inspections.
• Adhere to EHS best practice and align fully with GE EHS.

Skills and Experience

• Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Kanban & flow/pull techniques (advantageous).
• Mechanical or electrical aptitude (advantageous).
• Experience with manual handling and ergonomics.
• Autonomous work following standard written operative procedures.
• Knowledge of VAV and LOTO procedures.

• Self motivated, proactive, and results driven approach.
• Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining high quality.
• Proficient in written and verbal English; additional languages are a bonus.

Requirements

• Good general standard of education.
• Advanced experience in a light mechanical assembly environment or similar.
