Production Operator

Proactive Personnel are working with a reputable manufacturing company, to recruit an experienced Production Operative to work shifts for their site in Chester.

Rotating Shift Position - Hours and Pay

• Rotating shifts weekly
• Week 1 - Mon - Thu 0545 - 1345, Fri 0600 - 1500 (39 hours)
• Week 2 - Mon - Thu 0945 - 1830 (33 hours)
• Shift rate per hour - £16.44 per hour
• Average 36 hours per week on rotating shifts
• Permanent role

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing / heavy engineering environment
• Counterbalance FLT experience is preferred but not mandatory for this position
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A flexible approach to work

Duties

• Achieving the production targets set for the department on a daily basis
• Highlighting and communicating faults which may cause production delay
• Ensuring all operating conditions are correct before commencing manufacture
• Maintaining accurate records of production, and any other operational data as requested by the Team Leader
• Ensuring the work area is kept clean and safe at all times
• Promoting and adhering to the company's system and procedures at all times
