Production Operative, tvONE

Part time Role

This is a part time role (30 hours per week). Flexibility on Monday to Thursday, or reduced hours across Monday to Friday.

Main Purpose of Job

To be part of team manufacturing cutting edge video and multimedia processing equipment to high quality standards.

Primary Purpose/Objectives

We are a multi skilled team who manufacture increasingly complex electronic products some of which are built to order. tvONE actively encourages cross training and staff development. All staff are expected to take part in various training programs and be pro active in improving quality standards. To contribute, support and improve team performance by working collaboratively, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Key Accountabilities

• To undertake all training as required to be knowledgeable and flexible to do all tasks from SMT to dispatch to the required quality standards.
• To follow written instructions and documentation related to the manufacturing of electronic products.
• To take responsibility for workmanship and look for opportunities for continuous improvement and quality assurance.
• To assist colleagues where required and raise any issues to the Production Supervisor/Manager in a timely manner.
• To carry out duties in a proper and efficient manner, act wholeheartedly in the interest of the Company and to comply with the Company Rules and Regulations.

Skills

• Electronics and soldering experience desirable.
• To undertake assembly tasks relating to the manufacture of electronic products.
• Willingness to help in all areas of the operational environment.
• Good understanding of lean principals.
• Punctuality.
• Being positive, enthusiastic, and able to work as part of the team.

Additional Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
• Responsible for ensuring that all Health & Safety Policies are adhered to.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
Friday 8.00 am to 12.45 pm
