Production Operative, Loughborough

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in Loughborough, working rotating day and night shifts on an ongoing basis.

In this Production Operative role you will be operating production machinery, running extrusion machines and operating counterbalance forklift trucks (training available).

If you have any experience in Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Machine Operator or similar role in a production environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

Rotating Shifts: Friday to Sunday

• Days: 6am - 6pm
• Nights: 6pm - 6am

Pay Rate:

• £16.95 per hour

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

• Manual handling of plastic components and raw materials
• Operating production machinery
• Running extrusion machinery and conveyor belts (full training provided)
• Using counterbalance forklift trucks (training available if you do not currently hold a valid or refreshed licence)
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Completing relevant paperwork and production records
• Carrying out additional duties as required

Skills Required of a Production Operative:

• Previous experience in a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Machine Operator or similar role is beneficial but not essential
• Willingness to learn and undertake training
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and able to work rotating shifts
