Job Description
PRODUCTION OPERATIVE - MIDDLETON, MANCHESTER - £26,000 PER ANNUM

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Middleton, Manchester on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing business within their Research & Development team, offering £26,000 per annum, Monday to Friday day shifts and excellent training and development opportunities.

£26,000 PER ANNUM MONDAY TO FRIDAY DAY SHIFTS PERMANENT POSITION TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Production Operative, Laboratory Technician, Lab Assistant, R&D Technician, Technical Assistant, Sample Technician, Quality Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Production Operator.

  • 37.5 hours per week

Day-to-Day Duties
  • Producing customer samples and internal development materials accurately and effectively
  • Supporting Development Technologists with internal and customer projects
  • Manufacturing samples for live customer enquiries
  • Carrying out laboratory testing and analysis
  • Supporting raw material analysis and development work
  • Assisting with sample production, testing and technical activities
  • Recording results and producing reports on work completed
  • Using laboratory sample and IT systems
  • Supporting the R&D team with day-to-day technical requirements
  • Helping to improve materials, procedures and processes
  • Troubleshooting problems and helping to identify suitable solutions
  • Working in line with company Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
Essential Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a diligent approach to your work
  • Good written and verbal communication skillsGood time management and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to remain calm and organised when priorities change
  • A practical approach to problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
