Production Operative

£13.58ph Days only, Monday - Friday, early Friday finish, Temp to perm, Weekly pay, 28 days holiday, Free parking, Sheffield, Immediate start, excellent benefits if role is made permanent.

Due to an increase in demand and continued success, a great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a world-renowned business, with very high staff retention, based at their modern manufacturing facility in the Sheffield area.

As an Assembly Operative you will be working in a modern and clean working environment, as part of a small and friendly team and reporting to the Operations Director. Your duties will include:

• Assembling small components.
• Cut and measure wire ready for soldering.
• Read from basic assembly drawings.
• Test and assemble thermocouples in line with the specified drawings.
• Operating semi automatic welding machine.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be manually dextrous, have an excellent eye for detail, have excellent reading and numeracy skills.

This role would suit someone with experience of PCB Assembling, electrical assembly, soldering, assembling products or working as a Production Operative within a manufacturing, assembly or production environment.
