Production Operative
Location: Wednesbury
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £12.71
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturer of cardboard packaging products, for Production Operatives to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy production environment, manufacturing high-quality cardboard boxes for a range of industries. Employees who consistently meet production targets throughout the week can benefit from an early finish on Fridays while receiving full pay.
Key Responsibilities- Working within a fast-paced production environment
- Operating and assisting with a variety of manufacturing machinery
- Producing and assembling cardboard boxes to customer specifications
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all health and safety procedures
Full training will be provided on a range of production equipment, including:
- Stapling machines
- Stencil printing machines
- Gluing machines
- Cutting machines
- Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operating experience is beneficial but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Monday to Friday working hours
- No weekend work
- Early finish on Fridays when weekly targets are achieved (paid in full)
