Production Operative

Production Operatives required in Tewkesbury, working within a factory environment. Monday to Friday, weekly rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:30 / 22:00-06:00), offering £12.71 - £15.89 per hour depending on shift. The Role
Working as a Production Operative, you will be working within a busy factory environment supporting a range of production processes. The roles are varied and will involve operating automated lines and/or advanced machinery while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on an automated/automotive production line
• Operating and assisting with high-tech equipment, including CNC machines and laser imaging machinery
• Running and monitoring production lines to ensure smooth operation
• Handling components and materials within a factory environment
• Working safely around chemicals, following strict health & safety procedures
• Carrying out quality checks and addressing basic production issues
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a production environment.

• Previous factory or manufacturing experience is essential
• A good working attitude with a strong willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong understanding of health & safety
• Ability to problem-solve and work effectively under pressure
• Comfortable working around machinery and chemicals

Shift Pattern & Pay

• Day Shift: 06:00 - 14:00 - £12.71 per hour
• Mid Shift: 14:00 - 22:30 - £15.26 per hour
• Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00 - £15.89 per hour (may not be required as this is dependant if you are put on nightshift full time - usual shifts rotate between Day & Mid)
• Overtime: Paid at 1.25x after 40 hours worked
