Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for multiple Production Operatives to join our Market Drayton site, to be a part of Muller's UK Manufacturing Operation, producing a quality product and meeting specifications according to procedures in the most efficient way possible.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)
Salary: Starting salary of £31,079, rising to £33,906 after completion of training and competency framework.
Location: Market Drayton

Ideal Candidate: Production machine experience in a technical processing plant, ideally in a food manufacturing environment.

• Operating manufacturing machinery in accordance with procedures.
• Proactive approach to all matters concerning Health & Safety.
• Cooperate with the employer in fulfilling statutory duties.
• Meet operational line / plant targets / waste targets.
• Meet individual targets.
• Minimise machine / plant down time.
• Maintain hygienic standards of the production environment and general housekeeping.
• Carry out basic routine maintenance (mechanical aptitude is essential) and strive to achieve the highest quality product, highlighting concerns to the manager.
• Prompt fault finding and timely corrective action or escalation.
• Have a flexible approach to work arrangements.
• Relevant food manufacturing qualification/experience advantageous.
• Basic Food Hygiene.
• Relevant Health & Safety Knowledge/Training.
• Mechanical Handling Equipment experience.
• Technical Processing Plant / Machine Knowledge.
• Good communicator - verbally and written.
• Good mechanical aptitude (essential).
