Details

• Position: Production Operative - Powder Manufacturing Department
• Working Hours: 14:00 - 22:00 (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
• Breaks: 30-minute unpaid break
• Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour, increasing to £12.71 in January. Overtime paid at premium rates.

Responsibilities

• Ingredient Preparation: Accurately measure and prepare ingredients for production. Transport prepared ingredients to the production line.
• Line Operation: Operate the production line, ensuring smooth and efficient packing of powders into 25kg bags.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of products throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and moving 25kg bags.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

These are long term positions with the opportunity of permanent employment after a successful qualifying period.
