Production Operative - Final Assembly

We are growing and are therefore looking for further colleagues to strengthen our team at the earliest possible date as: Production Operative - Final Assembly, atour company in the beautiful peak district national park.

Primary responsibilities:

• Assemble a wide range of Furnaces and Ovens which consists of taking a variety of electrical and mechanical parts and sub assemblies to produce the products.
• To liaise with in house personnel as required to resolve build and design issues.
• Correct completion of time sheets ensuring correct routing codes are used and the correct time is booked to the individual codes.
• To have an awareness of deviations in stock levels; overstocks and shortages and discuss with the relevant person.
• Work to set deadlines with strict adherence to Quality principles.

Key skills and qualifications:

• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Able to read drawings.
• Able to follow standard working practices.
• Experience in a Manufacturing/Production Environment and electrical knowledge or previous assembly experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential as full training can be given to the right applicant.

• 4 day week on an 8 week rotating shift (38 hours per week): Rotates between Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.
