Vickerstock are currently recruiting for a Production Manager for a well-established food manufacturing company located in Galway.
This is a key leadership position with responsibility for overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring the efficient delivery of production plans while maintaining high standards across quality, food safety, health & safety, productivity and performance.
You will be responsible for leading and developing the production team, driving operational efficiency and supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.
The Role- Lead day-to-day production operations and achieve production targets.
- Manage, motivate and develop production teams.
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, waste and overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and H&S standards.
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering and other departments.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Support production planning and labour requirements.
- Identify and resolve production issues effectively.
- Maintain high standards across the production floor.
- Support the introduction of new processes and equipment.
- Previous experience as a Production Manager or senior Production leadership role within food manufacturing.
- Strong experience managing production teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production KPIs, efficiency, waste and labour management.
