Description
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective production methods, ensuring strong manufacturing standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement using lean tools, value engineering, and root-cause analysis to enhance capability and eliminate waste.
- Monitor performance data, analyse downtime trends, and implement corrective actions to maintain best-in-class reliability.
- Maintain strict compliance with industry regulations, governing body requirements, and quality standards.
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across the department.
- Manage, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational excellence and maintain high performance.
- Build strong internal and external relationships to support manufacturing strategy and delivery.
Profile
The successful Production Manager should have:
- A strong background in manufacturing within automotive, aerospace or precision engineering.
- Proven expertise in managing production processes and teams.
- Strong technical understanding of machining and CAD methodology.
- Exposure to operational excellence frameworks such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with process improvement and commercial viability.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary between £75,000 and £90,000.
