Production Manager

The Production Manager will be responsible for all manufacturing related activities including planning, production, quality and H&S. Other day to day responsibilities will include:

• Leading, managing and co ordinating all manufacturing activity on site
• Liaising closely with both internal and external customers to achieve the desired quality standards
• Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to for a safe workspace
• Promoting a culture focussed on continuous improvement
• Developing high performing teams
• Achieving agreed KPIs

Successful candidates will have a strong manufacturing background, ideally in a fast paced environment. You will also possess:

• The ability to make high impact decisions in a fast paced environment
• Good problem solving abilities and a proactive mindset
• A successful track record in mentoring and developing emerging talent
• A proven continuous improvement skill set
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build a culture of success
• An innovative and customer focused approach

• Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
• Permanent position based in Wakefield.
