With a strong focus on continuous improvement, they are now seeking an experienced Production Manager to help drive operational excellence and support the next phase of their development.

Job Description

Based in Walsall, we are looking for a highly motivated Production Manager to oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring smooth day to day operations, exceptional product quality, and effective resource management. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who can inspire teams, optimise workflows, and maintain the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a safe working environment and full compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Developing and managing production schedules to ensure timely project completion in line with customer and business expectations.
• Overseeing resources-including materials, equipment, and personnel-to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
• Implementing and maintaining robust quality control procedures to ensure products exceed required standards.
• Monitoring production costs and ensuring alignment with budget requirements.
• Leading, motivating, and supporting production staff to drive strong team performance.
• Identifying and resolving production issues, taking proactive corrective action where needed.
• Continually seeking opportunities to enhance production processes, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Production Manager should have:

• NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety.
• Experience in leading a multi process, high SKU production facility.
• A background in Engineering with a understanding of CAD drawings
• Lean Practitioner qualification - Six Sigma.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and planning abilities.
• Excellent problem solving skills and sound decision making capability.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid technical understanding of relevant production processes and equipment.
