Role OverviewThe Production Manager is a newly created role within NEP UK, supporting the delivery of major broadcast contracts and acting as a key link between production, engineering, and commercial teams.
This role is ideal for an experienced production professional ready to broaden their leadership and commercial exposure while working on large-scale, high-profile projects. The position offers a clear development pathway toward senior production and contract leadership roles within NEP.
You will take increasing responsibility across operational delivery, crewing oversight, stakeholder management, and commercial support, contributing to the successful execution of complex live broadcast operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage crewing and resource planning across major broadcast contracts
- Identify and mitigate resourcing risks in collaboration with production and engineering teams
- Provide operational support to RFPs, contract renewals, and new business activity
- Support contract reviews, supplier rates, and cost control processes
- Act as a key interface between production, engineering, commercial, finance, and clients
- Maintain planning tools, cost models, and operational templates
- Support delivery of large-scale live broadcasts, including football and racing schedules
- Strong experience delivering major OB or live broadcast contracts
- In-depth knowledge of OB logistics, resource planning, and production workflows
- Experience supporting budgets, cost control, and commercial decision-making
- Understanding of contract management and operational implications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Familiarity with ScheduALL, Proactis, and Microsoft Office
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
- Exposure to commercial, contractual, or negotiation activities
