Job Description

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our building operations team for the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities as a Production Manager. The Production Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality events and performances at the Schwarzman Centre. This includes corporate events, public performances, conferences, and multi-disciplinary arts activities. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, the post holder will ensure that all productions meet the highest operational, creative, and safety standards, while supporting the Centre's commitment to excellence, inclusion, and sustainability.

About you

You will come with significant experience as a Production Manager in a multi-arts venue, large-scale events, or festivals, including corporate and public events. You will have extensive technical knowledge across rigging, lighting, AV, sound, SFX, and staging, as well as strong IT skills and proficiency in CAD software for technical planning.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and resolve conflicts effectively, and have a proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently. You will have experience in budget setting, cost control, and financial reporting for productions is essential. You will also have in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in a live events environment.
