Production Manager / Senior AV Technician

Location: Wembley

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Company Overview

A small yet well-established technical event production company supplying audio, video, lighting, and scenic production services for corporate and private events throughout London.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end technical event production, from client brief to onsite delivery.
• Oversee prep and logistics, ensuring all equipment and crew requirements are met.
• Crew scheduling and management, including briefing freelancers and internal teams.
• Spec equipment for jobs and contribute to procurement discussions.
• Provide design input and ensure kit lists meet technical and creative requirements.
• Operate audiovisual and lighting equipment onsite where required.
• Liaise with account managers and assist with overall event management.
• Budget management.
• Ensure high standards of health and safety and compliance across all projects.

Requirements

• Strong technical background with the ability to manage and deliver live events.
• Technical expertise in video and lighting systems such as Novastar, Green Hippo, Resolume, Avolites, or similar.
• Direct experience as a Senior AV Technician OR Technical Production Manager within the events industry.
• Previous experience managing production teams onsite.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to travel and work weekends/evenings where required.
• Driving licence beneficial.
• Knowledge of CAD design desirable but not essential.

Package & Benefits

• Salary: £35K - £45K DOE
• 28 days holiday (inc. bank holidays) - rises by 1 day per year up to 33 days.
