Overview: Are you an experienced Production Manager with strong organisational and leadership skills, ideally in the Timber Production or Manufacturing sector? You will be responsible for leadership and management across all operations and contribute to the senior leadership team. The company aims to continue its growth with the addition of a new Production Manager.
The Candidate: The ideal candidate will have experience in Timber Production, Sawmilling, or Manufacturing, with a proven track record in leading Operations Teams in a senior leadership role. You should be ambitious, enthusiastic, and capable of developing your teams to meet business targets. A drive for innovation and new ideas is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production performance and seek continuous KPI improvements.
- Implement ongoing improvements across all operations.
- Lead, develop, and coach your teams.
- Enhance the company's brand and reputation, and strengthen client relationships, both existing and new.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
- Set production budgets to maximize business returns.
- Work with your team to ensure production schedules maximize sales, yield, and profit.
- Report on operational performance at monthly Senior Management Meetings.
