Job Description
We are looking for a Production Finance Analyst who reflects the innovative spirit and collaborative mindset that define ILM.
The Production Finance Analyst is responsible for handling complex production finance work for specific project(s), requiring an understanding of accounting principles. This role works closely with VFX Producers, production staff, and other departments including general accounting, legal, and FP&A, providing analysis and reporting on varied assignments.
What You'll Do:- Partner with Executive Producers and VFX Producers to manage multi-currency budgets for projects ranging from 1m to 100m.
- Collaborate with financial analysts across ILM studios to meet reporting deadlines and financial targets.
- Prepare and report scenario planning, cost projections, and estimate regional tax incentives.
- Ensure accurate month-end financial reporting, project forecasts, and maintain records for audit and variance analysis.
- Generate weekly and ad hoc financial reports for executives and producers.
- Prepare billing details for invoicing on contracts and rebillable projects.
- Analyze data and create visual summaries to simplify complex analysis.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred.
- Experience in production finance, project analysis, or accounting within the entertainment industry, especially with multi-currency transactions and global reporting.
- Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Organized, adaptable, with strong prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently while aligning with team goals.
This role is Hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days on-site per week at a designated location, with occasional remote work.
