Job Description

Position: Production Engineer

Location: Paris/ Toulouse, France (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract


Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor applications
  • Handle Level 2 / Level 3 incident tickets
  • Process service requests and changes
  • Update operational documentation (DEX)
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Work during business hours and off-hours
  • Understand the business context

  • In addition to the above activities, the Run Reinforced Production Engineer:

    • Participates in Run Reinforced activities for a scope of critical applications
    • May communicate directly with stakeholders
    • Has in-depth knowledge of application architectures


    Technical Skills:

    • Operating Systems: Linux, AIX, Windows
    • Scripting: Shell (bash/ksh), Ansible
    • Orchestration/Scheduling: CTRLM, etc.
    • Monitoring: Dynatrace, etc.
    • Middleware: Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, SSIE
    • Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL
    • Containerization

    Nice to Have:

    • AWS and GCP (Practitioner level)
    • GitLab CI
