About the Role

A well established and successful label manufacturer has a key opening within its production team. Our client's ISO9001:2008 accreditation reflects its ability to satisfy the exact quality, service and value demands of its ever expanding list of clients. They are looking for a senior production manager who pays the utmost attention to detail to every task in hand, not just meeting but exceeding all customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of production policies, objectives, and initiatives.
• Schedule and ensure proper utilisation of facilities and personnel for production.
• Work closely with the managing director to ensure expectations are met on timeliness, quality and profitability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the production process.
• Adopt best practices to drive efficiency with a long term vision.
• Initiate production improvement plans and processes to minimise costs through effective utilisation of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials.
• Lead the department with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, nurturing and supporting the team.
• Stay familiar with developing new production technologies and keep up to date with the latest trends.
