Production Associate (Medical Grade Wire Processing) - Castlebar

A leading manufacturer of precision wire-based materials, producing high-performance stainless steel wire for use in life-improving medical devices. This role involves hand-on machine setup, process adjustment using calculations, and strict adherence to quality and regulatory standards in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture of medical grade stainless-steel wire in compliance with required quality standards.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of in-process materials to ensure suitability for final production.

Working Conditions

• Continental shift pattern (2x 12hr days followed by 2x 12hr nights)
• Role involves standing and being on your feet for extended periods
• Fast-paced, precision-focused production environment

Candidate Profile

• Problem-solving ability and confidence working with calculations
• Reliability and ability to work long shifts
• A disciplined and consistent approach to work
• Comfort working in a regulated, high-spec environment

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments desirable but not essential
• Machine setup or mechanical experience
• Experience using production or data recording systems an advantage
