Summary of Role Job description The Production and Logistics Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating the progression of batches for City North from the initial raising of paperwork through to the delivery to the packing lines and overseeing and coordinating the receipt and despatch of goods to and from PCI Ireland's warehouses.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure safe work practices are being always followed, report any near misses immediately to the EHS Department.
- Monitor progression through statuses of scheduled batches and follow up with functions that might delay the on-time delivery of batches to the packing lines.
- Daily cooperation when required with Procurement, Warehousing, QA Warehousing, QA Ops, Planning and Customer Service to achieve delivery to the lines on time.
- Support 8am and 3pm daily Production Coordination Calls that ensure cross-functional alignment on the production plan for the next 24-48hrs.
- Coordinate deliveries of Drug Product and components from suppliers and outbound shipments of Finished Goods to customers.
- Lead the Delivery Item Alignment meeting with procurement to discuss delivery schedules.
- Liaise with transport providers and third-party logistics partners.
- Coordinate with KAMs to confirm all deliveries and collections and ensure required documentation is attached to Smartsheet trackers.
- Prepare weekly logistics performance reports for warehouse operations.
- Carry out various other additional tasks that may be required from time to time in accordance with the overall goal of the company.
- Minimum of 5 years working in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting skills.
- The successful candidate should display a dynamic and proactive approach to manage problems.
- Self-motivated with a results driven approach.
- Adaptable and ability to work collaboratively.
- Working knowledge of JDE.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (incl. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, including experience in Lean tools to develop continuous improvement.
