Product Test Engineer

AXA Health is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join the Engineering team to deliver the digital roadmap, develop capabilities, and support the engineering strategy across the organisation. The Digital team is investing to transform and automate business processes and deliver new digital services. The role is in a product-led operating model focused on a Single Digital Platform based on Salesforce, a significant .NET estate, Azure services, and React frontend applications. You will learn about recent technology trends and help influence choices; our engineers are collaborative and focused on continual improvement.
AXA supports flexible working, balancing time between home and office. You'll work at least two days a week away from home (40%), moving to three days (60%) in the future. Office locations include Leeds, Middlesbrough, Bristol, Tunbridge Wells, and Bournemouth. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed with Talent Acquisition.
What you'll be doing- Work as part of an Agile delivery team to identify bugs early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline handover times and define completion criteria.
- Manage automated test pipelines to increase reliability and optimise coverage.
- Join the AXA Health Test Guild and contribute to a community of test professionals.
- Practical experience testing web frontends and APIs
- Experience using Playwright, BrowserStack, Percy, K6 or Axe DevTools
- Creative and exploratory approach to manual testing
- Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated tests against .NET and React
- Experience working in an Agile development team
- Ability to conduct non-functional testing (Compatibility, Accessibility, Performance)
- Experience using Github CoPilot is advantageous
- Previous work with Azure pipelines is desirable
