Job Description

This role is home based with fortnightly travel to our offices in Monkspath, near Solihull in the West Midlands. It is essential for this role that you live with a reasonable commutable distance. Candidates who do not live within a reasonable commutable distance will not be considered.

Join Stonegate Group as a Product Owner and play a key role in shaping and delivering our Application Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and Agile teams to drive product vision from concept to launch.

About the Role

Reporting to the Lead Product Manager, you will define and deliver product roadmaps that align with business strategy. You'll collaborate across the organisation to translate business needs into actionable Agile workstreams, ensuring successful delivery across the full product lifecycle.

This is a highly visible role where your ideas, leadership, and ability to prioritise will directly influence business outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities

Provide clear direction to Agile development teams and stakeholders

Lead workshops to capture and refine detailed requirements

Manage the full product lifecycle - from user stories through UAT and sign-off

Maintain and prioritise a well structured product backlog

Plan and manage releases to meet key milestones

Develop business cases and prioritise epics, themes, and stories for maximum impact

Lead release schedules and communicate clear delivery expectations

Produce clear and engaging release notes

Identify and mitigate delivery risks and sprint impediments

Conduct market, user, and competitor research to inform product strategy

What We're Looking For

Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and principles

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Analytical, strategic, and commercially aware

Detail oriented with a proactive mindset

Confident using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro

Experience within hospitality or retail is advantageous (but not essential)
