Job Description
Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a technology-driven team delivering innovative solutions for supply chain and field inventory management. This role focuses on Warehousing and Forward Stock Locations (FSLs), working closely with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to define and implement strategic product enhancements.

About the Role

As Product Owner, you will act as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery. You'll translate customer requirements into actionable product roadmaps and user stories, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy. This is a hands-on role requiring strong collaboration with Agile development teams and occasional interaction with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand customer and user journeys, translating needs into innovative solutions.
  • Define and manage product roadmaps, requirements, and priorities.
  • Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and maintain a groomed backlog.
  • Apply UX principles to design user-centric solutions; produce wireframes and mock-ups.
  • Act as Product Owner within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure product quality through QA processes and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) acceptance tests.
  • Present demos to senior stakeholders and customers; occasionally lead customer-facing activities.
  • Contribute to process mapping and optimization in complex operational environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in software development environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning).
  • Experience in UX design, wireframing, and user-centric design principles.
  • Ability to map and optimize processes, ideally within warehousing or logistics.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work effectively with remote teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.

Desirable Skills

  • Background in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Product Design.
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (eg, Figma, Balsamiq, Sketch).
  • Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, or field service operations.
  • Familiarity with EDI integrations and RFID technology.
