Product Manager, Returns and Rejects, Amazon Smart Commerce

We are looking for a single threaded owner to lead initiatives in reducing Returns and Rejects (RRR) for D2C brands.
- Design and implement end-to-end returns management solutions for D2C brands on Smart Commerce.
- Create automated returns reconciliation and refund settlement systems to streamline merchant operations. Develop analytics solutions to track returns metrics, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.
- Design and optimize the seller experience for RTO solutions across e-commerce service providers (eSPs). Develop prepaid incentivization programs to shift customer behavior from COD to prepaid payment.
- Partner with Data Science teams to implement ML models for returns optimization and fraud prevention. Implement AI/ML solutions for return fraud detection and prevention.
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with merchants to understand pain points and implement effective returns solutions.
The vision of Smart-commerce team is to digitize brand owners and selling partners by providing a suite of product offerings across the business's lifecycle. Within this, we are building a solution to enable sellers to set up their website & scale their independent online business serving their customers with the most effective ways possible. In other words, we want to be the one stop shop for all e-commerce needs of small & medium D2C brands.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of product management experience.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Tableau, Essbase or Cognos).
- Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity.
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization.
