Product Team Manager, Maidstone. Lead a growing Product Focus Team overseeing compliance, supplier quality, technical governance and new product launches.
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (9:00am to 5:30pm)
Location: Maidstone

Our client is a successful and growing business seeking an organised, commercially aware and technically minded leader to manage its Product Focus Team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in driving compliance, quality, supplier performance and new product introduction activities across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating structure, accountability and measurable results while leading a team through growth and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, develop and support the Product Focus Team. Set clear priorities, objectives and KPIs. Manage workloads, deadlines and project delivery.
- Oversee product compliance, certifications and technical documentation.
- Ensure product records and specifications remain accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate new product introduction projects from concept through to launch.
- Drive product development opportunities from internal and supplier proposals.
- Manage product audits and compliance activities.
- Investigate non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Analyse quality, supplier and complaint data to identify trends and improvements.
- Work closely with Procurement to improve supplier performance and quality standards.
- Support Customer Services, Sales and Marketing with accurate product information.
- Produce KPI reports covering compliance, quality, supplier performance and project delivery.
- Improve processes, document control and departmental procedures.
- Experience leading a product, technical, quality, compliance, manufacturing or operational team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident interpreting specifications, standards and technical information.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.
- Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
You will be a practical and approachable leader who enjoys solving problems, challenging assumptions constructively and ensuring actions are completed on time. You will lead by example, take ownership and help create a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
