Product Manager
Clearance: Active SC required
Location: Predominantly remote - assume London 2x/month for onsite work
Start: Mid-late August, latest early September
Duration: 6-month initial contract + potential 6-month extension
Role Overview:
You'll own and drive the direction of the Staff Transfers service, setting and managing the product roadmap in line with the overall service vision. This includes adapting priorities as business needs change, managing the product backlog in Jira, and running agile ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities:
Own product roadmap, adapting to shifting priorities
Manage backlog in Jira (tickets, sprints, ceremonies)
Coordinate with multidisciplinary team (User Researcher, Interaction Designer, BA, Service Designer)
Align sprint plans with organisational outcomes in partnership with the Delivery Manager
Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with the Government Service Standard
Plan and deliver against service assessments
Ideal Profile:
Proven experience as a Product Manager in government digital services
Strong agile delivery background (Jira essential)
Track record of working across multidisciplinary teams
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and aligning with Government Service Standards
