Job Description

As a product manager for quick commerce supply chain, you will build solutions to power a nimble and agile supply chain that ships millions of units every day. Amazon Now (quick commerce) is a well-funded startup within Amazon, challenging norms to make quick commerce work for Amazon.

You will work on interesting problem statements across supply chain domains, including warehouse operations, buying, replenishment, and labor planning. You are expected to work through ambiguity, identify the right problems to solve, and partner with stakeholders across operations, tech, and business (in-stock, operations excellence, marketing, category) to build world-class solutions. All this while maintaining the right speed.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Evaluate the supply chain problem space in the context of business needs and evolution to identify opportunities in supply chain planning.
  2. Experiment with solutions that maximize in-stock levels and availability at dark stores. The key north star metric is to achieve desired stock availability and SWOOS (sales weighted out-of-stock).
  3. Create and deliver a robust roadmap for delivering optimization solutions, demonstrating proficiency in operations research.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of product management experience
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in product, program, or project management for major new products or services
  • Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases, and communicating results organization-wide
