Job Description
My client is a specialist UK litigation boutique, ranked Tier 1 for Group Litigation: Claimant in the Legal 500 UK Guide. Embark on an exciting journey as a Product Liability Associate in one of the most highly regarded firms for Group Litigation. My client is seeking Qualified Solicitors, ideally with Group Litigation experience, to support with high-profile Product Liability claims. Be involved in truly impactful and meaningful work. The firm's ethos is to bring together exceptional legal expertise with a robust operational and technological platform, enabling clients to pursue claims that might otherwise be unviable against large corporate entities. All matters are claimant-focused and handled under contingent fee arrangements, meaning clients face no costs or financial risk.Role Responsibilities:
- Supporting partners and senior associates to deliver work of the highest standard.
- Leading and coordinating teams of paralegals and other professionals (such as data analysts) to progress client claims efficiently.
- Drafting and reviewing correspondence to clients and opposing counsel, as well as preparing documents for court or tribunal submission.
- Managing and resolving data queries during the collection and organisation of client information.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively progress cases.
- Conducting legal research and drafting documentation, including handling complex client queries with confidence.
- Qualification as a solicitor or barrister.
- Litigation experience (experience in group litigation is advantageous but not essential).
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of key legal and business issues.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- A client-focused approach and commitment to delivering excellent service.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience supervising trainees and/or paralegals (desirable).
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to take ownership of multiple case workstreams.
- A calm and solutions-focused mindset when tackling new or complex challenges.
